Happy New Year!

Over the course of the past few months, Alexis and I have been busy working
to produce the TwoHelp Thailand DVD.  We finalized the DVD at the beginning
of December and presented it during a talk that we gave at school, where we
received overwhelmingly positive feedback.  Donors to our tsunami
rehabilitation work in Khao Lak should have received a copy of it in the
mail.  Please let us know if you didn't!  Others interested in a copy can

During January, Alexis and I will both be participating in interesting
public health projects that we will write about through our website.  

Alexis is in Atlanta for two weeks, working with the Centers for Disease
Control (CDC).  With them, she will participate in an evaluation of several
environmental health programs in the Atlanta area.  You can follow along

I will be in Kenya for three weeks, working with a team from the Harvard
Humanitarian Initiative and the Kenyan Red Cross (KRC).  Our work will focus
on developing a tool for evaluating HIV/AIDS programs run by the KRC, which
can then be used to help evaluate HIV/AIDS programs run by other sub-Saharan
African Red Cross organizations.  You can follow along with my experiences
